Shopping and Dining at Broadway at the Beach

Broadway at the Beach is a shopper’s paradise. With over 100 specialty shops, you’ll find everything from popular brands to unique boutiques offering local treasures. A couple of our favorite spots include:

  • Savannah Bee Company At Savannah Bee Co., honeybees are a true passion; their retail locations bring this enthusiasm to life. These stores serve as interactive destinations where visitors can enjoy guided honey tastings of single-source and wildflower varietals and sample skin-nourishing body care products powered by the hive. Additionally, adult visitors can indulge in mead (honey wine) tastings, and Bee Garden tours are available at select locations. The staff is knowledgeable and entertaining, ready to provide a fun and informative Savannah Bee Experience while shoppers explore unique hive-inspired gifts.
  • The Mole Hole: The Mole Hole of Myrtle Beach, SC, has been serving customers since 1978. With decades of experience, they ensure an exceptional in-store and online shopping experience. The store offers a dazzling selection of quality products, including fine gifts, collectibles, and jewelry. Perfect for unique gifts and home décor.

After working up an appetite, you won’t have to look far for a delicious meal. Whether you’re in the mood for casual dining or something more upscale, there’s a restaurant to satisfy every palate. Two of our top picks:

  • The Hangout: The Hangout is one of our favorite spots for great food and family fun. We were first introduced to this gem in Orange Beach, AL, and were thrilled when they decided to open a location here in Myrtle Beach. Guests can enjoy live entertainment, relax, and let the kids play while sharing good times together. The restaurant offers full-service dining and boasts a courtyard filled with a sand pile, foam pit, games, retail shopping, stages for live music, and more.
  • The Grumpy Monk: The Grumpy Monk is another one of our favorites. Founded by a Coastal Carolina University alumnus, it is renowned for its fresh sushi, top-notch food, and extensive selection of craft beers, including ten rotating taps featuring brews from around the Carolinas. The establishment also boasts a bottle shop with a curated collection of unique and hard-to-find craft beers from across the United States. With lunch and dinner service, The Grumpy Monk provides a daily happy hour and a range of weekly promotions and events, ensuring there’s always something exciting happening. Additional locations are in Carolina Forrest and North Myrtle Beach.
